General information

Vector files created by Vectorportal.com (check out Artist field on Download page) are free for personal and commercial use (except images that depict celebrities and brands, mostly found in People Vectors and Sports Logos sections, which are available for non-commercial and editorial use only).

Because Vectorportal.com is free vector archive which accepts free vector submissions from other artists, most of other vector files distributed through our site are free for commercial use. However, we strongly suggest to you to contact the author (check out Artist field on Download page) and ask for permission.

Attribution or credit to Vectorportal.com is mandatory for media who distribute our files on their own website or other channels (magazines, DVD etc) and media using our images for editorial use like newspapers, news portals, TV stations, magazines, websites etc.

Freelancers, artists that use our images as part of larger design, agencies that use our images to create ads, posters and other designs do not have to credit Vectorportal.

General rule is if you credit any other artist for a work that you created, please credit Vectorportal as well.

You are not allowed to:

- sell our images bundled with other artwork or as downloaded from our site
- claim them as your own
- use our vectors to create brushes, custom shapes or Illustrator symbols
- distribute our vectors without attribution

Cafe Press and Zazzle users and T-shirt printers

Users that use our images on Cafe Press, Zazzle and similar services have to give credit to Vectorportal.com with a proper link to our homepage.

Users that use our images for T-shirt printing (like Print shop owners) do not have to give credit to Vectorportal on their products. However, because they make few bucks with our designs, we would appreciate if they link to our site from their site or Facebook or Twitter page.

Flags, Coat Of Arms and Maps

Artwork in Flags, Coat Of Arms and Maps sections may or may be not copyrighted. Many countries do not copyright their flags and coats of arms (most are in public domain) but it is up to user to find out copyright information about specific files.

Brand guidelines

Brand guidelines are offered as a convenience for their lawful use only. They are distributed with the intention of educating users of proper use of brands in design. Downloading Brand guidelines from this site DOES NOT give you authorization or permission to use the copyrighted logos without the specific consent of the copyright or trademark holder. Before you use, reproduce or distribute in any manner any logo found on this site, you must first receive the express permission of the holder of the copyright or trademark of that logo. Failure to obtain such permission is a violation under international law.
